Nature :)

Hello again! Today I’m here to show you a picture that I like.

This Picture was taken by me on September 2010 in a place near to Paine (this is where I live), called Aculeo, where we can see nature in all its splendour, because there are a lot of trees, plants, f lowers and hills. It is really nice site.

It shows a beautiful rainbow and background two cottages immersed in nature. I think it is a gorgeous photography, because it shows how beautiful can be our nature, and in a metaphorical sense, it says that after rain, everything is more amazing: trees are greener, flowers are more colourful and life is nicer. That’s why I like it, because we can take two things from this picture. First we see how bonny is this picture and in second place we could show it to, for example, a person that is sad and explain how beautiful life can be.

Besides, I would like to talk about the place where this picture was taken. Aculeo is a rural town with a lot of cottages and surrounded by an amazing nature we can’t find in the city. This place is really nice site if you want to forget your problems. Here you can picnic and breathe fresh and clean air, especially in the famous lagoon of Aculeo, which is crowded in summer, because it is a tourist area.

Also, when I see this picture it inspires me peace and happiness. It is a place that everyone should now, I think, because in some sense it takes us to another side of life, puts us in touch with nature, makes us appreciate it and feel love for her. 

T.V serial!

Hi everyone! I’m here again. Today I’m going to write about T.V serials. I think that this kind of making T.V is very important in people’s lives, because it’s a kind of hobby; we have fun while we watch them. I think they have a very important role in our society, because they talk about a lot of topics and things that happen every day in our lives, so I think people like them because in this way they can distract themselves and think about other things than work or studies. Besides, people can meditate about these serials and they can comment it with their families and coworkers everywhere: in the office, while they are dining, or way home in the car.

I have a favourite T.V serial, it is called F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It is a sitcom (situation comedy) where six friends live together and do everything together. They have birthday parties and they go to the coffee shop and they just pass time together doing funny things. That’s why I like very much this serial, because it’s very entertaining and I laugh a lot when I watch it, I have a great time enjoying it! Besides mi friends like F.R.I.E.N.D.S. too, so I can talk about it with them and we have an awesome time remembering the scenes of the serial. I try to watch this serial every time I can or when I have time, because I really like it, and although it’s not a new serial, I watch it any way, because I like the characters and the comical things they do, besides they give it on T.V every day! But I don't have much time, because I have a lot to study, so I try to watch it when I can.

Technology ¿is it essential in our lives?

My favorite piece of technology is my cell phone. I have had three cell phones in my life, but i like a lot the one I have now, because it is very simple, and it doesn't have too many things to do,because it just has two games, a camera, and a bluetooth, but it's an old model from Nokia. I use it just for making phone calls or writing messages, because I'm not that kind of people who love technology. I think technology is there just to make our lives easier, but not to get obssessed by it. So, I got this cell phone when I was fifteen, about three years ago. I need to use it every day, because I am far from my family the whole week, so I need to communicate with them, because they like to know if I am ok.

I like it because I think it's very important to be communicated with your family and friends. Besides, something could happen to an important person for you, and if you don't have a cell phone, you couldn't know it, so it is a very practical instrument. My life without it... I think it would be a little bit difficult, because I couldn't talk with my friends and family evrywhere. But it woulnd't be different, I would continue living in the same way I live now, because I think Technonolgy is not such an imperative thing in our lives. It is there just to help us and make our lives a little bit easier.

Music! ♪♪

Music is very important in our lives and for our society, because if we are sad or unmotivated, music give us encouragement to continue with things we have to do every day, so music is a huge influence in our moods! 
That's why people listen to music, because they need something to cheer up their souls, as Ferry Corsten, a dutch DJ, says "People don't only listen to music, the also feel it".
My favorite kinds of music are Pop rock, power pop, and indie music. All of them are very catchy, and you can dance with some songs and you can have a relaxed moment with others, they have a lot of variety of songs, because they talk about everything in their lyrics. Some bands that represent those styles of music are We the Kings, which is my favorite band, Metro Station, The Kooks and Fall out Boy. 
I think the best website to listen to good music is http://www.lastfm.es, here you need to register an user and you can  find new music and people who have the same interests as you! this is a very nice website, because it's very safe about your personal information and you will have fun through the music and sharing your trends. 
So I think I listen to music because it's good for give happiness to our hearts, and we can have great moments. Besides it reminds me of good times with my family and friends! That's why I try to listen music every day, also because music is present in every moment of our lifes, in television, at the bus, at school, at university, etc.
Music is life! So I think every person should listen to music, because it is good for every ambit of our lifes :) 

What's my favorite website?

Hi, again! Today I'm going to write about my favorite website. This is http://www.planetacurioso.com/ This website talks about curious things, that sometimes are not very important, but you should know, because they are part of our world. So then, you could share ideas with your friends about the topics in the website. This site is not that serious, but if you want to have a entertaining time or unwind a little bit from your job or studies, besides, you will be informed of the things that are happening in the moment and in the news don't appear. I try to visit this webiste every day, because I like to be informed of the new things that happen in my society. Sometimes I don't have much time to visit it every day, because of the studies, but y try to keep reported about it. Also, we can have a great time laughing or surprising yourself, because sometimes they publish funny curious things, like a woman who was collecting friends on facebook to get married with her boyfriend, or some interesting things about our body functions, like "Why if we close our eyes we can see lights?" or "Can we sneezes with our eyes closed?" So, it's a very interesting website which you can use to be informarted or for have a funny time. I recomend you to see it! You will have a nice time.

Little Miss Sunshine, my favorite movie.

Hello! I'm going to write about movies today! First of all, I think people like films because, in some way, this kind of art represents our lives, our idiosyncracy and our lifestyles. There are horror films, history films, comedy films, romantic films, etc. Some of them are to learn new things, others are to have a great time before work, and others are for people who like to think about what they watched. But I think the most important thing for people to watch movies is having a funny time.
My favourite movie is "Little Miss Sunshine". This movie is about a little girl, Olivia, who is a regular girl, not too pretty, but she's really nice. She wants to participate in a beauty contest, but her family is a little bit rare. Her mother is a crazy woman, her father is a life winner, he doesn't like to loose, never! and he inculcates it to his daughter. Olivia's brother, Dawney, is an adolescent that wants to be part of the army of his country, so he decides not to speak until he enters to the army, as a challenge. In the other side is her uncle, who is gay and he's not very accepted by the family, and finally is her grandfather, an old man, very very crazy. He's the one who teaches dance Olivia  for the contest. Finally, they decide to go as a family in a "volkswagen combi", a really old van (which is funny, because in the course of the movie, the van disarms several times). This is how they arrived to the contest, just in time. Minutes later Olivia is in the contest and she goes out to the stage to show her performance. She dances and does a "bold" show for her age, so the judges get surprised and they decide to take out Olivia from the stage. That cause a riot that finishes with all family detained by police. 
This is an American movie, made in 2006, its genre is drama-comedy, it was directed by Alan Muraoka and its characters are Steve Carell, Tomi Collette, Greg Kinnear, Alan Arkin, Beth Grant, Paul Dano and Abigail Breslin. 
The first time I saw this movie, I immediately liked it, because I think it represents very good some things that happen in daily life, but when they are showed in a movie, we can laugh of the funny situations nowadays. Besides, this film makes you have a really awesome time, laughing and sharing with your family in the living room of your home. 

I totally recommend this funny, interesting and amazing movie.

Hey, I'm Camila. I'm a student of the University of Chile and I study Sociology, because I want to work with people and help them. Also I like to do something for our society. About me... well, I am a very quiet person, sometimes a little bit shy, but I like to meet new people anyway.
